Astroworld Festival Litigation

The third Astroworld Festival, held on November 5, 2021 at NRG Park, has led to thousands of lawsuits after 10 people lost their lives and others claim to have suffered serious personal injuries. All of the cases have been consolidated for pretrial proceedings, including discovery, before the Honorable Kristen Hawkins, presiding judge of the 11th Judicial District Court in Harris County. Plantiffs in the consolidated litigation allege Travis Scott continued performing after he knew, or should have known of dangers in the crowd.The first trial is scheduled to begin in May 2024 for one of the ten concert goers who lost their lives at the festival.
